Chapter Ten

I waited another week to make sure Ricky was top notch and then told Fernando that I wanted to finally go and meet his family. He told me he would pick me up at seven and not to worry since it was going to be an intimate dinner at his parents’ house with only us four. Of course, I was a nervous wreck, so I did an extra hour of yoga to control my nerves. It did not work. I decided to go classic and wear a simple, sleeveless beige dress that hugged my silhouette without making me look slutty, brown pumps, and wooden accessories. I had my outfit perfectly lined on my bed, and after a bubble bath, I straightened my black hair and was ready to put on simple nude makeup. He came knocking on my door at five thirty. I was in my underwear, so I put on my silk robe and went to the door.

“Coming.” I walked toward my door, and through the peephole the most handsome man in the world was standing outside.

I opened the door and there he was, with a big smile. His eyes roamed my body in approval. He was wearing classic khakis with a blue dress shirt and a tie with accents of brown and blue.

“Oh my God, we are wearing matching outfits. We are that couple.”

“What do you mean?” He chuckled.

“I’m looking for a new outfit.” I turned around, ready to run toward my closet.

“Hell no, come here.” He pulled me to him and kissed me. I forgot where I was for a moment. “I love you in this robe,” he whispered in my ear while grabbing my ass and giving it a little squeeze.

“How come you are here so early, I thought your parents lived close by?” I said, still a little breathless.

“Well.” He closed the door gently. “I heard your voice over the phone and I figured you had to be nervous and I know the perfect solution for that.” His dimple was out and he looked at my body like the big bad wolf.

I squinted my eyes. “A Valium?”

“Something much, much better,” he said while pushing me slowly against the wall.

“Pot?”

“Nope.” He grinned at me and started caressing my arms and kissing my neck, nibbling it and biting slowly.

“Wine?” I closed my eyes and tilted my head back to give him more access.

“Nah,” he said, and then proceeded to grab my thighs under my silky robe.

“Chamomile tea?”

He stopped for a second and looked at my eyes. “Tea? Really?”

“Don’t underestimate a good cup of tea, Mr. Escudero.” I bit my lip and caught him staring at it.

“Well, Ms. Clarke, you’re not even close.” He kissed me passionately. His tongue invaded my mouth with greed and lust. I felt his hand between my thighs and one of his fingers entered me, then two. Oh my God. I moaned at his invasion and it only encouraged him more. He stopped kissing me and I opened my eyes, complaining at my loss.
